Hi, I'm your nutritionist, Miriam Jacobson, MS, RD, CDN.

I am a board certified clinical nutritionist and use functional medicine as the foundation to best assess and understand systematic imbalances that lead to digestive problems, slow metabolism, anxiety and depression.

I understand and empathize with my clients' stories because I've been there too. I lost my father at a very young age; the stress of that trauma combined with poor eating habits took a terrible toll on my health.


I felt bloated, tired and anxious. When I was 20 years old I would lay in bed at night crying from arthritic pains that my doctor told me didn't really exist. All I wanted was to live in a life where I slept soundly at night and woke up refreshed; I wanted a body that wasn't bloated or in pain. I dreamt of feeling light, graceful and healthy. For a long time, I thought that if I ignored the issue it would miraculously disappear. This was not the case.

Healing myself challenged me to redefine the relationship I had with myself, my grief and with food. At the heart of this transformation was building my self worth. Once I truly valued myself it empowered me to treat my body with love and care. I can help you to do the same.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do we start with only a 3-day meal plan? 

During our first consultation, we work together to customize a full 3 days of meals and snacks so that you know exactly what to do to jumpstart your program. After our meeting, you will receive these in the form of a personalized PDF. But don't worry - you'll certainly walk away with more than 3-days worth of ideas of what to eat.

All of your meals will be based on a structure that I create for you, depending on what we're working on. This foundation lends flexibility so that you're not obligated to follow a rigid meal schedule and are free to live your life.

Throughout the program you will receive continued plant-based meal ideas to keep you on track and inspired.

Are there additional costs? 

The cost of the program covers our counseling sessions, your customized plan, supplement regimen, meal ideas and health tracking in between appointments. Costs for supplements and metabolic tests vary and therefore are separate from the cost of the program.

Is there a guarantee?

As your nutritionist, I will recommend the most effective nutritional changes, professional-grade supplements, metabolic tests, lifestyle changes and emotional work that are designed to help you reach your targeted health goals in the quickest and most sustainable way.

Do I need to see a doctor before we start working together?

While you don't need to see a doctor right before we work together, it is important to have a primary care physician and to get yearly blood work and check ups.

What if I miss an appointment?

The program is structured so we meet every other week over the next three months. If something comes up within our 24-hour cancellation policy, you can always reschedule your appointment for one of our 'off' weeks (so we will meet two consecutive weeks). However, appointments will not 'roll over' past the end of our three months and any unused appointments will expire.

What if I have special dietary needs?

You've come to the right place! All programs are designed specially for you, so no problem if you're vegan, kosher or absolutely hate mushrooms.
